Am calitate de membru  al BACP, membru stagiar al UKCP \u0219i respect Codul lor de practic\u0103 etic\u0103.<\/p>\n<h2>Experien\u021b\u0103<\/h2>\n<p>Am \u00eencercat s\u0103 dau un sens lumii (sau oamenilor) din jurul meu de c\u00e2nd m\u0103 \u0219tiu. Interesul meu m-a dus la psihologie \u0219i, mai larg, la \u00eentreb\u0103ri despre cum func\u021bioneaz\u0103 mintea uman\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>De ce suntem tri\u0219ti? Sau ferici\u021bi? Sau chiar furio\u0219i? Este doar un r\u0103spuns la o ac\u021biune extern\u0103, prezent\u0103 sau este ceva mai mult dec\u00e2t at\u00e2t?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dac\u0103 trecutul influen\u021beaz\u0103 prezentul, atunci cum putem introduce schimbarea? Este via\u021ba noastr\u0103 determinat\u0103 de la na\u0219tere sau putem face alegeri? Dac\u0103 o facem, de unde \u0219tim c\u0103 am f\u0103cut alegerea(ile) potrivit\u0103(e)?<\/p>\n<p>Toate aceste \u00eentreb\u0103ri m-au determinat s\u0103 studiez filozofia \u00eencerc\u00e2nd s\u0103-mi dau seama cum au r\u0103spuns al\u021bii la aceste \u00eentreb\u0103ri \u00eenaintea noastr\u0103.<\/p>\n<h2>De ce am devenit psihoterapeut<\/h2>\n<p>Dup\u0103 aceea mi-am dat seama c\u0103 poate exista o modalitate de a r\u0103spunde la unele, dac\u0103 nu la toate aceste \u00eentreb\u0103ri pentru noi \u00een\u0219ine. Asta m-a adus la psihanaliz\u0103.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mi-am dat seama c\u0103 psihoterapia este o c\u0103l\u0103torie pe care porne\u0219ti, dac\u0103 dore\u0219ti s\u0103 afli cum ai ajuns s\u0103 fii cine e\u0219ti. De asemenea, po\u021bi s\u0103-\u021bi redescoperi trecutul \u00eentr-o alt\u0103 lumin\u0103. S-ar putea s\u0103 nu fie \u00eentotdeauna u\u0219or sau confortabil, dar este o cale c\u0103tre autocunoa\u0219tere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Am devenit psihoterapeut pentru c\u0103 am vrut s\u0103 fiu acolo I have a trainee membership with UKCP, and I abide by their Ethical Code of Practice.<\/p> <h2>Background<\/h2> <p>I have been trying to make sense of the world (or people) around me since I can remember. My interest took me to psychology and more broadly to questions about how the mind works.<\/p> <p>Why are we sad? Or happy? Or even angry? Is it just a response to an external or present action, or is there more to it than that?\u00a0<\/p> <p>If the past influences the present, then how can we introduce change? Is our life determined from birth or do we get to make choices? If we do, how do we know we made the right choice(s)?<\/p> <p>All these questions have led me to study philosophy in trying to figure out how others have answered these questions before us.<\/p> <h2>Why I became a psychotherapist<\/h2> <p>I then realised that there may be a way to answer at least some if not all these questions for ourselves. That has brought me to psychoanalysis.\u00a0<\/p> <p>I recognised that psychotherapy is a journey you embark upon, if you would like to get to know how you came to be who you are. Also perhaps to rediscover your past in a different light.
